The Library Media Production Studio is a space dedicated to creating high quality audio and visual content. Professional quality recording equipment, including microphones, an audio mixing and recording station, HD broadcast camera, LED lighting, green screen, and a video capture and editing station are available for FGCU students, staff and faculty to use. The Media Production Studio is also where FGCU’s student media groups, Eagle Radio and Eagle News TV, make their studio recordings. Only FGCU students, staff, and faculty may use the Media Production Studio.

Monday-Thursday 9 AM - 8 PM
Friday 9 AM - 6PM
Sunday 1 PM- 8 PM
Encouraged Uses of the Studio:
Audio Recording: Podcasts, Interviews, Audio narration, Radio Shows
Video Recording: Presentations, Short Films, Vlogs, Instruction and Lectures
Discouraged Uses of the Studio:
Recording live music (noise from instruments will be disruptive to library outside).
Group meetings not requiring recording equipment.
Extensive media editing session not requiring recording equipment (media editing software is also available in the Specialty Lab area of the library’s main computer lab).
