Library Remote Access: For Faculty

Course Continuity for Faculty

Information Literacy Instruction

Should a professor be interested in scheduling information literacy instruction during this time, librarians are prepared to provide that service in a whatever way is most beneficial to the class. Some options:

  • Canvas Conference - This allows for a synchronous, online classroom through Canvas and includes live desktop sharing, polling, and discussion.
  • Tailor-made Research Guides - This allows for an asynchronous experience. We can also set up low stakes assessment "quizzes" to ensure that students complete the appropriate training.
  • Recorded Instruction - This combines the fully active experience of a Canvas Conference with the asynchronous ease of a tailor-made, pre-recorded session.

Please reach out to your librarian to discuss what is best for your needs!
