New RefWorks Webinars & Screencasts

RefWorks offers several webinars on many different topics each month, as well as a YouTube Tutorial channel.

 

Logging in and Creating an Account

To create a RefWorks account:

  1. Go to http://refworks.proquest.com and click the “sign up” link.
  2. Fill in your information making sure to use your institutional (FGCU) email address (you can’t sign up with @yahoo.com, @gmail.com, etc.). 
  3. Activate your account - you'll receive an email with a link to complete the registration process.

What's New

Some noteworthy new features: 

  • 10GB storage. Drag and drop capability along with smart document recognition makes it easy and fast to upload documents and bibliographic metadata into your account.
  • Annotate, organize, and cite your research as well as collaborate with friends and colleagues by sharing collections.
  • Save to RefWorks feature allows you to capture research from websites with the click of a button.

Staying updated & Transitioning to New RefWorks

The ProQuest RefWorks Customer resources page in the ProQuest Support center is your main information page with the most up-to-date information and resources for the new RefWorks.

If you want to stay up to date, you can sign for updates by clicking on the "notify me button" and entering your e-mail address.

In the Upgrades page you will also find the status of the upgrade roadmap, the latest features released and links to the main Resources, including this LibGuide.
